Eligibility criteria

As per the UGC guidelines, entry into professional courses like MBA/PGDM in Karnataka are as follows.

Eligibility for MBA/PGDM
Bachelors degree with minimum 3 years duration/ Masters degree examination of any recognized education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent, and have secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidate). Candidates in their final year of bachelor’s degree are also eligible.

Application Process

Steps for KMAT application are as follows:

  • Apply online at website:- http://www.kmatindia.com
  • Complete the documents online.
  • Tick the appropriate Nativity if test takers are not Karnataka state student.
  • Candidates can select and mention minimum two preferred test centres as per their convenience.
  • Mark the test for which a candidate is appearing.
  • Test takers must then fill in their complete address for communication purpose.
  • A candidate seeking admission for MBA, MCA must create a DD for Rs. 800 IN FAVOR OF ‘KMAT 2017’.
  • Test takers are advised to keep a print out of application form and DD as an evidence of acknowledgment.
