Jamia Millia Islamia Admission 2018

While Jamia Millia Islamia, an institution primitively well-established at Aligarh in United Provinces, India in 1920 and in 1988 develop into a Central University by an act of the Indian Parliament. In contrast to Urdu language, Jamia means ‘University’, and Millia means ‘National’.

Eligibility Criteria

While, the minimum eligibility criteria for admission is at most a 3-year bachelor’s degree with at least 50 percent marks or equivalent (45 percent for SC/ST or persons with disability (PWD) category, of any of the Universities (please check specifications) or acquire an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
Note: Hence, the Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification gathered by the candidate must bring about the minimum of three years of education after finishing higher secondary schooling.

Furthermore, in case of the candidates being granted grades/CGPA on the contrary of marks, the equivalence would be based on the equivalence certified by the university/institution from where they have attained bachelor’s degree.

Admission Procedure
